Entertainingly. it just opens its steam page upon opening the game.
It works just need to hit ( No ) when steam client bootstrapper pops up ( or in other words just double click then hit no when popup happens
Programmer on the game here. The only thing we do is check if the game was started through Steam and if not restart it through Steam. This isn’t meant as a form of DRM but merely to make sure achievements and cloud sync work. You should be able to easily circumvent it by placing a file called steam_appid.txt with the contents 379320 in the same folder as the game. Hope you get it working.
