Hello guys i have an issue with this game when game starts my menu lights on and its very bright i cannot see or read anything and my fps is very low , and im running the game on a gaming laptop asus rog 750gx

.net 4.5 framework required to run installer setup otherwise it will crash.

i have all the patch installed. There is a problem with a place. Everytime you go near the cemetery where you solve the second riddle of GEMINI, the game crashes. The problem is with that place because it happens to me only where i go near it, and i tried to reach it by every angle
After Death Of Lord De La Serre , the game stucks at loading and when i do ctlr, alt, del n task manager , it says game stopped working . Please help !!!

same trouble as a bunch of other people, game crashes after De lassers death and the start of sequence 2 memory 1. would be great to know when this will be fixed as according to google this is caused by an issue in the files. either corrupt or missing.

i have same problem after dead De la Sera in loading. I reinstall game and patched to 1.3 and its works fine, then after that install 1.4 patch. Sorry for bad english 🙂

after sequence 2 memory 1 ( de la serre’s death ) , the game crashes ( ACU.exe has stopped working) any ideas guys ?
it’s okay i fixed it,
Stupid graphics and creepy people with no face and stuff -> Updated NVidia graphics card to latest drive , worked perfectly
Crash After De La Serre’s Death while loading -> install the game in a different path ( A clean game . don’t apply any patches or cracks or whatever) , copy these 2 files
(datapc_acu_paris_gi.forge – datapc_acu_versailles_gi.forge)
from the NEW installed game to the OLD one with patches applied,
i did that and it worked like a charm, good luck

That does work, yes. And is a lot easier than going through the patching process again.
However, it means that two major, maaajor files will be the original unpatched versions, which could have consequences. I recommend that if you are going to use this method (and it worked for me), you should hang onto your patched versions and stick them back in after you have completed this section.
Installation went well but when I start the game, it shows a bit of the intro (sometimes not even that) and then crashes. “ACU.EXE Has Stopped Working”
