I think you have to use these files and folders in this v1.2.0 downloaded here to replace the files and folders in the previous version of the game.
Because the file size of this v1.2.0 here is just 17GB whereas the previous version v1.1.0.318 was 31.8GB.
There are quite some files missing in this v1.2.0 here.
Maybe this is why you couldn’t start the game. You just have to replace the files from here to the previous game version.
With that being said, you got to have the v1.1.0.318 files with you or you have to download it.
I was wrong, pls disregard whatever I mentioned before.
The 17GB is the file size of the compressed file, after I unzip it, the file size is 32.2GB. And I can run the game without problem.
I’m not sure why you can’t run the game, but you can still try to replace the files from this version to the previous version and see if this works for you.
You can also try to run and install the DirectX and Microsoft Visual C++ in the CommonRedist folder in case you are missing these in your PC.
