    Saladin, it was the European Crusaders that were carrying out the religious war for the Church at that time so using a French word for bomb makes sense, though they didn’t have such bombs for their terrorism for another few hundred years.

    Peixoto/Traveler, the European Crusaders didn’t have bombs back then but they still slaughtered plenty of innocent people to take over land from the Muslims in the Middle East, ironically now stolen by Israel. I guess after that they didn’t care so much about religion since the Europeans slaughtered and stole the lands of plenty of other civilizations.

    Would be decent if this DLC is historically accurate but coming from a Polish developer it wouldn’t surprise me if their countries right wing propaganda has influenced it.

    So, if europeans were the only bad and evil ones,and we know for a fact that they really did what you said. Yes, they went stole land, fought and killed many people, but muslims tend to forget that in 8th century muslim forces occupied Spain, Sicily, parts of Italy, were in ongoing war with Eastern Roman Empire and taking other’s lands too. Come on, when we look at the history as a whole,you really have no goods and bads from anybody’s perspective.

    stefan, the thing is that when you go back to historians (Muslims and Jews) who lived in that time you would notice that muslim rulers in the time of ruling spain for ex, didn’t force islam on anyone, didn’t deport anyone from their home, didn’t steal their land, didn’t impose sharia law on them… in fact they treated them as normal citizens. In contrast, if you look at what israel is doing and has done to Palestinians you would notice the difference right away.

    No one said Europeans were the ‘only’ ones to do bad in history, though as a whole their crimes seem to be the worst in scale frequently resulting in the genocide of the indigenous people e.g. taking over US, Canada, Australia, apartheid in Africa, almost killing off the Jews, carving up the Middle East, ruling India, nuclear bombing Japan even when the war was essentially won and then a second time, Vietnam China, South America etc. as well as taking their resources and land.

    Historically speaking, the comparison to Muslim rule in Spain which you mention was not quite the same as it did not result in genocide or the widespread usurping of land, racism or theft of resources which European colonialism and rule arguably still implements through strategic military and political means.

    Obviously we could expand that further and say that even today that ‘pacifist’ Buddhists commit genocide in Myanmar against a poor minority, rich Israels apparently full of God’s chosen people continues to expand its occupation of their much poorer neighbor which is even supported by other rich nations, Racism is on the rise in the West, a Rape epidemic in India etc. so clearly other civilizations have major major faults too.

    But the comment above was only on the time of this game which is about the European Religious Crusades and the Churches war into the Middle East and for some reason most people seem to automatically take the wrong side obviously due to their spreading of lies and propaganda as well as remaining ignorant as to who the aggressors were in that conflict.

    As Stefan said arabs did conquer southern Europe. But that wasn’t all, later ottomans tried to conquer whole Europe.
    Almost killing off the jews? Not according to world almanach and international red cross that checked those camps.
    Nuclear bombing…America doesn’t represent whole White race, it was bomb created by jews and dropped by usrael.

    @Rade, you need to start compatibility mode with Windows 7. then star the game as administrator.

    there is a bug in Akka campaign. developers have made a hot fix for it, please upload it 🙂
