Game stuttering is really unbearable. Tested it on 3060 TI and 4070 Ti. Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Another rubbish port, I exceed the recommended requirements and even putting everything on low at 720p does not exceed 45 fps and the stutter is infernal, in each frame.

How to fix it please ?
Hi everyone, to those who are having issues with the game (game stuttering, fps locked to 40~45, and freezing) you can download this fix:

How to apply fix:
1. Download the file and extract the archive.
2. Copy the files to your “After Us” folder and replace the files when asked.
3. Run the game using SmartSteamLoader_x64.exe located at “\AfterUs\Binaries\Win64\” folder / directory
4. You may also change the language by editing the force_language.txt located at “\AfterUs\Binaries\Win64\steam_settings\” folder / directory
5. To change your username / in-game name, edit the force_account_name.txt located at “\AfterUs\Binaries\Win64\steam_settings\”.
Let me know if it works, well it worked for me. 🙂

You are welcome, the game is really good and runs smoothly. I modded the graphics of the game and didn’t negatively affect the FPS at all. By the way, I am running it on Directx 12.

it says a Controler is required to play this game, you guys all playing using the controller or its just me seeing the error ?
Is not an error,you do need a controller to play, there´s no way to play with keyboard and mouse.

Hi, yes a controller is required. I used a DS4 (playstation 4 controller). If you don’t have a controller, you can try a few software that emulates a controller using your keyboard and mouse. Thanks!
